Notice to all medical professionals

Referring clinicians are responsible for assessing urgency, and determining the appropriate care pathway for their patients at the time of referral.

Patients should be booked directly via the “Book Now” button below by the referrer or by the patient at the referrer’s direction. Please ensure the patient brings their referral letter to the appointment.

EyeDoc Eye Clinics provides scheduled outpatient ophthalmology services, including urgent assessments where a clinically appropriate appointment slot and suitable availability exist.
EyeDoc Eye Clinics is not a substitute for a hospital eye casualty service.

If a condition requires same-day or emergency assessment, or if a clinically appropriate appointment is not available, the patient must be referred directly to hospital eye casualty services (e.g. RVEEH or MMUH).

Administrative staff cannot assess clinical urgency.
